Compare complete configurations
Choose between a welding cart and a standalone arm by comparing the equipment and integration work each proposal includes. A cart describes a mounting arrangement; the label alone does not establish the welding package, utilities, fixtures or commissioning scope.
An arm-only proposal may suit a project that already has suitable equipment and a defined integration owner. A cart proposal may suit a need to organize equipment on a shared base. In both cases, compatibility and the intended work area need review before purchase.
Ask for an itemized scope
- Identify the arm, controller, pendant and mounting arrangement.
- Identify the welding power source, torch, feeder and cooling equipment, where applicable.
- List cables, interfaces, software options and integration responsibilities.
- Separate workholding, worktable, extraction and protective measures.
- Clarify gas supply, transport, installation, training and acceptance responsibilities.
Mark each item as included, optional, customer-supplied or excluded. Existing equipment should be identified by model and interface documentation; ownership alone does not establish compatibility.
Review relocation as a project requirement
Describe the proposed stations, floor conditions, access routes, utility connections and part locations. Ask how the mounting, work reference, cables and protective arrangement will be checked after relocation. Movement of a base should not be treated as proof that production can immediately resume.
Include the time and resources needed for these checks in the comparison. The relevant cost is the complete working installation, not simply the cart premium or arm purchase price.
Prepare comparable proposals
Send CBOXTEC your existing equipment list, part drawings and planned layout. Request written inclusions and unresolved interface questions so each configuration can be assessed against the same production and acceptance requirements.
