Discuss Welding Automation Cooperation with CBOXTEC

OEM supply and support

CBOXTEC supports OEM welding robot supply under a distributor's own brand. Share the target model, intended market and requested branding changes. Agree the exact configuration and each change in writing.

Instruction documents, video tutorials and online guidance are available. On-site support requires a separate scope and extra charge.

Record who supplies each item and handles integration, installation, acceptance and end-customer support. Quantity, lead time, territory and commercial terms require project-specific written agreement.

Define the cooperation you want to discuss

If you distribute welding equipment or integrate automation systems, describe your market, technical capabilities and the kind of projects you want to discuss with CBOXTEC. A useful first conversation identifies the proposed responsibilities on both sides before making commercial commitments.

Submitting an inquiry does not appoint a distributor, grant exclusivity or establish a service agreement. Those arrangements require a separate written agreement.

Two starting points

Your role Information to include Topics for the first discussion
Welding equipment distributor Territory, customer industries, existing product lines and support team Product fit, demonstration needs, training and quotation process
System integrator Typical workpieces, engineering capabilities and current project requirements Robot interfaces, fixture scope, commissioning and acceptance responsibilities

For market-specific preparation, see Indonesia or Malaysia.

Agree who owns each project task

Before quoting to a factory, prepare a responsibility table covering the robot and controller, welding equipment, fixtures, handling, cell safety review, installation, programming, training and after-sales support. Put a named organization against each task and identify unresolved dependencies.

Treat this as a discussion checklist, not as a list of services already included in a CBOXTEC offer. The final scope must match the project quotation and agreement.

Questions worth resolving before a first sale

  1. Which product configurations are available for the intended application?
  2. What documentation can be supplied to support integration and maintenance?
  3. How will demonstration parts and acceptance criteria be agreed?
  4. What training and troubleshooting arrangements can be contracted?
  5. How will spare parts, warranty claims and site visits be handled?
  6. Who communicates changes in project scope to the factory?

Commercial discussion

Discuss territory, lead handling, demonstration equipment, payment and service responsibilities directly. No margin, exclusive territory or response-time guarantee is published here. Do not present yourself as an authorized CBOXTEC representative until that status has been confirmed in writing.
